I was immediately drawn to Vanessa and Danny’s ability to find romance in the everyday, back when we first met up for this couple’s epic San Francisco engagement session. We explored the entire city together, from Legion of Honor, to Crissy Field, ultimately ending up at Baker Beach for those incredible sunset views of Golden Gate Bridge. These two have a knack for turning regular scenes of them walking together, laughing together, and simply enjoying one another’s company into something much more magical. They share an incredible connection with one another that you can’t help but notice.
For their big day, I was so excited to hear how Vanessa and Danny planned on celebrating their nuptials both in the city that defined their relationship and in some of the beauty of the outer Bay Area. We started the day at the Hilton in San Francisco Union Square, with some amazing urban portraits up at their private rooftop bar. From there, we moved on to St. Ignatius, which is HANDS-DOWN one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever stepped inside. We then took a quick trek over to Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery, this gorgeous vineyard venue up in Pleasanton. We couldn’t have asked for a prettier sunset for the bridal party portraits, but then my jaw seriously hit the floor when we stepped inside the reception space afterwards. You’ll have to check out the photos to see what I mean!
I’ve been looking forward to sharing Vanessa and Danny’s wedding photographs for a while now and I’m so excited to have them on the blog today!
