Falling in love all over again with Sofia and Max’s downtown Roswell engagement session. My recent trip back to the south was full of all of my favorite points. Six kinds of fast-food fried chicken. Road trips to Savannah. Hot chicken biscuits in the morning (I must really be hungry). And of course – Georgia’s famous, incredibly unforgiving, all-out rainstorms.
Which I really do love, promise. Like at night, when I’m drifting to sleep with the tempo of the rain on the roof. Or when Georgia gets ultra, unbearably humid and needs a little rain action to take things down a notch (San Franciscans don’t know how good they have it). But perhaps.. not when we have outdoor photo plans.
Thank goodness for Sofia and Max. They were super troopers and rocked our weather plans and last-minute venue change. In the end, I think the mix of restored antebellum halls and cheery downtown shops perfectly represents Sofia and Max. They have such a wonderful blend of tradition and modern thinking in the love that they share for one another. I’m so excited to see this new stage of their relationship come together next fall!
Towards the end of our shoot, the SWEETEST, SOFTEST, SCRUNCHIEST puppy in the world made his big photo debut. Charlie was appropriately named after beautiful Charleston, where Max proposed to Sofie along the beach. Hope you all enjoy!
